SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The scholarship program is a 4 month commitment that is designed to train you for your next step in dance. You will take a minimum of 12 classes per week. 2-3 per day, 6 days with one day off. Each week you will be required to work 2-4 hours at the studio. These hours are semi-flexible.

All levels are welcome to audition!

During the program we may do a photo shoot and/or a dance reel shoot. If teaching dance is something you are interested in, you may have opportunities to sub classes or do practice sessions with your other scholarship program mates and AfterHours staff. We will give you feedback and help you develop your teaching style.

Depending on dance level and time of year there may also be some performance opportunities. We will also help you write a resume or help you improve the one you already have, if you would like.

There is a $30 audition fee and $199 program fee.

During the program you are welcome to audition and train other places as long as it doesn’t conflict with your commitment to this program.

Auditions can be scheduled on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday nights. The audiition is simply you talking 2 classes and being observed to determine if you would be a good fit for our scholarship program. For the audition please bring a headshot and resume, if you have one. There may be an interview before/after the dance portion. Come ready for all styles.
